San Francisco track bike OG’s MASH are opening their first-ever physical storefront, a solid move that was probably a long time coming. Judging by this series of preview shots they’ll be carrying a full run of their own products, and of course acting as a flashpoint for the Bay Area cycling community via art and events. Stoked to see these guys continually building their empire, more pics after the break.

NYC-based Todd Snyder (former head designer at J. Crew) gives us a look in to his debut eponymous collection for a/w 2011, taking his experience with shaping the Americana aesthetic (he also spent years at Ralph Lauren) and further refining the dress/casual silhouette. There seems to be a bevy of reference points here: besides the immediate RL and J. Crew influences, I also see a lot of Wings + Horns, hints of Adam Kimmel, and strands of Japanese high street (i.e. Nonnative and Victim). I’m especially feeling the knit pieces and the way they’ve been paired with denim and subtle collared shirt / dress shoe combos, reminds me a lot of my work wardrobe Monday – Friday. An expansive collection from a name I’m sure we’ll be hearing more from, hit the jump for more looks.

The video accompaniment to their s/s 2011 collection, Brixton continues to make us want to pack up and ride down to California and play in a rock band while surfing and skating all at the same time. They nail the full out lifestyle brand so well, which at this point is expected from the label… no need to say much more, just watch the video and enjoy.

In the world of UK ‘bass music’ there’s a few names that seem to always be pushing the envelope in terms of production style and taste-making; Joy Orbison, who’s been featured here before, Instra:mental, who just released an excellent new LP, Will Saul, who’s Aus imprint has been home to many a seminal release, and many more. One name that will always get mentioned on that list is David Kennedy, aka Ramadanman. Over the past couple years he’s crafted a few aliases as well, in order the release music that wouldn’t necessarily suit the Ramadanman sound he perfected on his Hessle Audio label: Pearson Sound, which slows the tempo a bit and further hones the use of negative space in the songs, something Kennedy is the master of, and Maurice Donovan, Kennedy’s newfound Chicago House alter-ego, and my new personal favourite. Three monikers, three distinct sounds, and a whole lot of awesome music: Kennedy is making his first extended tour through North America at present (with UKG legend Zed Bias no less!), and I have the honor of opening the show this Friday… very excited to hear a set from the much-vaunted producer, as these NA jaunts are infrequent. Japanese label Rehacer has released this look at their forthcoming collection for the 2011 autumn season. The collection is mostly made up of outdoors-inspired styles that the Japanese are so damn good at reinterpreting. Erik Brunetti is back it again with his label Fuct, producing this new range of graphic tees for the spring/summer 2011 season. Fuct is one of the best and definitely one of my favorite streetwear lines at it, remaining consistent and relevant for so many years without compromise. For the s/s ’11 season Brunetti has produced 10 new designs all printed on 4.5oz. 100% ring spun cotton 30 single fine knit jersey t-shirts. There’s heavy doses of American motorcycle imagery and culture seen throughout, from the Jay Cruz illustrated ‘Mecca Run’ to the ‘Death Bunny’ and ‘Fuct Co. 69’. I would have to say my favorite design is the ‘Fuck Hollywood,’ but thats just me… Keep reading for the full looks.

We posted the Goodhood Mens lookbook for the spring/summer 2011 season a few days ago, and at that point I didn’t even notice the women’s lookbook; after I took a view through I was just as impressed with it as I was the men’s. With similar style cues such as bold patterns like Navajo and leopard seen throughout, I really dig these looks, perfect for the ladies with these upcoming warm spring/summer months. Oliver Spencer has become a favorite of ours over the past few seasons, as we’ve got to work with the product on the daily while watching the rise of his web presence through quality and selected presentation. Now comes his first shot at a diffusion line: Spencer by Oliver Spencer, which consists of a derby shoe and moc boot, in three colorways each. With lower pricepoints and simple styling, these are sure to be a hit; only issue is that they’re currently only available in-shop at his London shoe store. Always a sucker for oxblood, I’m really feeling the moc shown above… click through for the rest of the initial Spencer offerings.
