Gitman Vintage Autumn/Winter 2011 Prints

I told you this was the season of theĀ printed shirt, well actually the first season ’cause it is looking like there’s more to come. Anyway on the note of prints here we have a great example of the printed shirt brought to you by Gitman Vintage. They have a nice variety for the a/w 2011, with stars, dots, dragonflies and even a polar expedition. Really digging these and wait till you see what Gitman is up to for spring/summer 2012 with the prints, well I will give you a hint, rabbits and mushrooms…

KATO’ Autumn/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Japanese label KATO’ has recently released their new lookbook for the autumn/winter 2011 season. Head designer Hisoshi Kato got his start producing denim back in the mid 90’s, making American replica style jeans all produced in Japan from the finest fabrics and materials. Here is a look at the a/w ’11 collection from KATO’ which is really solid, fusing both military and workwear styles, hitting all the right notes for me. Keep reading for a detailed look at the full collection…

The Real McCoy’s ‘Buco’ Line F/W 2011

Here is a look at Japan’s The Real MCoy’s detail-perfect Buco reproduction line for f/w 2011. Buco originally manufactured some of the most iconic pieces in motorcycle history, from 3/4 helmet to caps like Brando circa the The Wild OneĀ to leathers on par with the Perfecto, and you can bet The Real McCoy’s do serious justice to this collection of jackets, sweats, and accessories. The Motor City is a major theme here, with race imagery running through the entire line. Everything is spot on, with my picks being the asymmetrical leather cut above, the hoodie, and the chain wallet… check the full collection after the jump.

Jeremy Jones ‘Bike of Bolts’

http://vimeo.com/28536495

This might be a little old in internet days, so apologies if you’ve seen this already… but I hadn’t, and Jeremy Jones was one of my favourite riders growing up, as one of the original eight Forum team members. Shot in a skatepark and on the hiway, this vid explains how Jones got in to bikes and the cutomization of his ’03 Sporty. Pretty rad.

45rpm Fall 2011 Lookbook

One of our favourite lines in terms of presentation and composition, 45rpm is back with this fall ’11 lookbook, displaying the vast seasonal collection from the Japanese label. Perhaps a bit dressier than we’re feeling these days, there’s still a lot of amazing pieces to be taken on their own, especially the jeans, loving the distressing and cuts. I also really appreciate the model choice for this lookbook, really gives a friendly vibe (e.g. no stone face adonis dudes). As per usual the women’s collection is super on point as well, make sure to visit their site and check that out… and click through for the entire men’s presentation.

Cottonopolis Fall/Winter 2011 Collection

Cottonopolis is the new clothing line started by one of my favourite UK retailers, Oi Polloi. After almost 10 years in the retail game the shop has decided to launch their own brand. Cottonopolis is an interesting name choice (much like Oi Polloi), but it comes from a nickname that was coined for Manchester city around the time of the industrial revolution and the city’s role in the rag business around that time. For the label’s first collection the standout piece is the Whillans Parka, a classic style four pocket parka made right in Manchester. The collection also includes Italian-made knit wear and a couple styles of English-made leather belts. Overall a classic looking understated collection which would be expected from the Oi Polloi team. Head over to the shop to check the full collection…

YMC Autumn/Winter 2011 Looks

YMC have released these new seasonal looks from their autumn/winter 2011 collection which is starting to hit retailers as well as their new online store. I am a big fan of YMC and their always clean and wearable collections. This a/w line features some really nice looking outerwear and sweaters, and they have ventured heavily into the camo, which is more than alright with both Kevin and myself. Keep reading for a few more looks for this great looking collection…
