Iron & Resin have released their newest lookbook and video for their forthcoming fall/winter 2013 collection. Love this brand and what they stand for; Made in USA garments, motorbikes and all around good times in the outdoors. Love the presentation for this season, with their classic scrapbook style mix of images and the addition of the video lookbook for the season as well.
Legit surf brand Lightning Bolt has released this lookbook for their spring/summer 2013 collection. With a rich history in the surf world, Lightning Bolt have been doing their thing since the early 70’s, getting a start in Hawaii and recently being relaunched by Jonathan Paskowitz to the N. American and International markets. Staying true to their roots, Lightning Bolt continues to produce quality surf boards and garments that pay homage to their past but continue to push the sport in the future. So many damn good summer looks here, most of which can only be rocked here on Vancouver Island for 6-11 days a year as we rarely see the Cali weather.
To conclude the 3 most non-sequitur posts possible today, here’s a look at my choice current product offerings from SoCal motorcycle ‘bringers of impending doom’ Death Squad MC. Soft and hard goods for the v-twin enthusiast, with surf and skate influences as well. Really in to the griptape footpegs and the t-bars, and the quilted jacket and murderclava are pretty good too. All available at their online shop, more after the break.
Seeing as it is actually still summer out there it can be a little tough looking at all these Fall/Winter collections, so why not take a look at the Warriors of Radness F/W 2009 line as they are from LA where the summer never stops. The collection is full of great vintage surf inspired pieces, from tanks to tops to pants to jackets, they are definitely covering some ground for Fall. I really dig the overall aesthetic of the line, staying true to their LA surf roots and making a line that epitomizes the ‘rad’ beach lifestyle. My favorite pieces are the corduroy pull over and yacht jackets, the acid wash jeans (I know), and the sleeveless zip-up hoodie. Warriors of Radness are keeping it real for themselves, bringing that full on late eighties/early nineties LA surf/skate throwback vibe, which I can get down with. Keep reading for more pieces from the collection…
