J. Crew continue to bring the heat with their spring/summer 2010 collection, this time around with this indigo Deck Jacket. This piece takes inspiration from vintage marine sweaters and is done in a ‘ultra-hearty French terry fleece’¬† in a saturated indigo blue color and washed to perfect softness. Dana Lee S/S 2010 @ Opening Ceremony

I can honestly say that my favorite designer right now would have to be Dana Lee. Her takes on classic menswear are just done so incredibly well. The current spring/summer 2010 collection is exclusively available @ Opening Ceremony. I love the pieces seen so far, with three styles of button down chambray shirts, three styles of tee shirts, a pair of double-chambray jeans and finally my favorite piece of the lot, the double-chambray jean jacket with leather sleeves. I think that having the line exclusively available OC was a good move for both parties, giving Dana Lee some great exposure and Opening Ceremony the exclusive on one of the top new menswear labels. Keep reading for a full preview, and go to OC to grab yourself one of these amazing looking pieces.

Duffer Of St. George Spring/Summer 2010

English label Duffer Of St. George have been proprietors of fine sportswear since 1984, and this capsule collection looks back to their roots with modern twists on classic pieces such as the varsity, hoodie, polo, and t shirt. As regular readers here have probably picked up by now, I’m generally a fan of definitively Brit styling, and this collection fits that bill… a little more footballer than mod or punk, but still appealing. The varsity is the standout piece, a great outerwear look for the warmer months. Keep reading to see the rest of Duffer’s spring/summer capsule offerings.

Deluxe Spring/Summer 2010

Deluxe is a another Japanese line that has been catching my attention over the last little while. I have only seen glimpses here and there from the new line, and was always happy with what I saw. They recently added their spring/summer lookbook to their site giving an in depth look at the collection. Titled “1956,” the collection takes its influence from 50’s styles with bowling shirts, high rise trousers and short cut pants. The saddle shoes and argyle socks really set the looks off and give them that authentic look. I love it when a line takes an aesthetic and works it so well, and that is exactly what Deluxe has done with their “1956” collection. Keep reading for more looks…

Reigning Champ S/S 2010

Reigning Champ is a line that should have a place in any guys’ wardrobe. The Vancouver based and made line is doing all the right things, classic looking basic pieces done with high quality jersey fabrics in nice slim cuts. The spring/summer collection keeps moving in the same direction with a few additions, such as the two tone hoodies and crew-necks and coach style jacket. I also really ¬†like the color range with the basic black, grey and navy, and some nice heather oranges and yellows for spring. Keep reading for the collection…
