Julien David Fall 2013 Collection

Damn right it’s time for some more Japanese fall 2013 heat, this time around we feature the latest from Julien David. I was super stoked to find this brand last season, their lakefront lookbook really nailed it for me. This time around for the fall 2013 collection we take a look at the runway style LB, not always my favourite presentaion but it does the trick. This season seems to be more #menswear driven, while usually this detours me I really like the suiting and more dressy looks seen here, and the styling is really on point. Its not all #menswear with some more casual looks, and the atypical fall shorts looks are damn good. Another impressive collection from the Tokyo-based Julien David label.

Julien David Spring/Summer 2013

Japan-based Parisian transplant Julien David has released this new lookbook for his spring/summer 2013 men’s collection. With a great mix of streetwear styles mixed with #menswear tailoring and high fashion fabrics the collection is unique in a sea of ‘similar fishes.’ Some of the looks are a bit much for a regular Joe like myself, most notable the man sarong but the majority of the items are on point, clean and simple. Really funny lookbook presentation as well, “hey lets go stand in front of some random Japanese beach and put on some weird clothes,” works for me.
