Unis ‘The New Her’ Photoshoot

Unis New York have released their new spring/summer 2012 collection, and they recently put together this nice little shoot featuring their Charlie jacket from their ss12 range. The shoot features model Adrianne Ho rocking the Charlie in all her its glory. With photography by Ryan Kibler and creative direction by Jake Davis, this is a great little shoot. I always like pretty girls in good mens basics and this reaffirms those thoughts.

Gant Rugger Fall/Winter 2010

Gant Rugger is a line we’re very much looking forward to stocking in our workplace come fall. With so many purveyors of ‘Americana’ and ‘Heritage’ in menswear right now, it’s nice to wear/sell items from one of the true sources, a label that’s been doing this for a long time (since 1941), regardless of trending. As for the actual collection shown here, it’s a case of ‘dressed by the internet’ (a new term coined in an outrageous comment thread over on Jake Davis); as full looks, there’s a bit too much going on… this isn’t what your grandfather wore, and he’d probably ask what you thought you were doing if you showed up dressed like one of these models. However, on a piece-by-piece basis, everything looks awesome. So much can be integrated in to your existing wardrobe, and will compliment other lines nicely… click through for the rest of this collection.

A Closer Look: J.Crew Fall 2009

j crew

We previewed the fall J. Crew collection a little while ago here, courtesy of Mister Mort on his visit to their showroom a few months ago. This time around Jake Davis gives us a well presented look at a few more of the stand out pieces from the Fall 2009 collection. I love the look and colours of the washed flannels (but then again why wouldn’t I?) as well as the W C Russell and Red Wing Chukka style boots. J. Crew is one of those companies that has the business plan down, the pieces in the collection are looking great and the price point makes the items obtainable, this is a company that will outlast the recession. Keep reading for the rest of the looks…
